Are You A Coupon Newbie? Looking Where To Start From?
You landed on the right page! So now, you have just discovered the wonderful world of Coupons and ready to give in. Today, I am going to guide you how to start couponing and share my tactics with you all.
I am a frugal lady myself, I love saving some money for my family like everyone else. Coupons are the first steps to be taken when you plan on living frugal. I will make my post short, precise and to-the-point, refraining from long posts and eliminating everything NOT so important because I myself do not like reading too long articles and/or posts. Whenever, I bump into long articles, I just keep scrolling down scanning the page for the point I am looking for - sometimes those posts are just long and there's nothing helpful in them *shakes head*
So lets start without wasting another minute. Below are the steps needed to get started:
Gather Coupons:
You can collect coupons from many of the places. Some of them are - Newspapers, magazines, online coupon websites, product websites, store websites, brochures, Facebook fanpages of specific products, product packaging and many more. Sunday's newspapers will get you tons - keep an eye on them!
Organization is the key:
You can never be a good money saver if you are not organized. You need to know where your coupons are and are easy to find. Mostly people use binders - some of the other options are files, baggies and envelopes. Use the option that is best for you.
Stockpile:
The key to saving when you start couponing is to know where the best sales is in your local area. You buy something that is cheap or even free and avoid having to buy it at full price when you really would be needing to buy them. You can buy multiple items at a time.
Be Patient:
These are just the basics - it may be overwhelming at first but once you master the basics you will learn extreme couponing on your own. Keep trying!
As I said above I will keep my post to-the-point. My motto is "Read less - Learn more". The more long articles you'll read on the internet the more you will be confused. I know that because I went through some of them and that confused the hell out of me. Jumping from one fact to another - learn the basics then I will post more tips and tricks from time to time.
Happy coupon-ing!
